A company's culture, work ethic and
success are all products of its values. These are the
ones that we try to live up to every day:
Courage
Fear is (and always has been) the single biggest obstacle
to greatness. But there's a fine line between daring
and stupidity. So we dream big, but we take measured
risks. And we encourage you to do the same.
Compassion
Never has there been a more perfect truth than the Golden
Rule. Applied to ourselves, it means we treat our clients,
employees, partners, vendors and neighbors as we would
like to be treated. Applied to our craft, it means that
we must offer our audiences the kind of smart, engaging,
inviting, beautifully crafted work we ourselves would
be interested in experiencing.
Conviction
Conviction is passion with a sense of responsibility.
We love what we do. But we also believe that what we
do is important. We help people grow and organizations
realize their potential. We can affect policy, alter
outcomes and change people's lives. Sure, it's not brain
surgery. But we do change minds.
Creativity
Every single advance in the history of civilization
came as the result of a creative thought. Every single
great ad, too.
Curiosity
One day you're deep in conversation about the pros and
cons of air-cooled lift truck engines and the next,
you're talking with a physician who's just pioneered
a less invasive orthopedic procedure. The ability to
switch gears is a prerequisite in this business, but
so is an insatiable curiosity. And the great thing is
that there might be an insight in the workings of that
lift truck engine that leads to the perfect orthopedic
ad.
Craftsmanship
As pretty much everybody's dad used to say, "If
it's worth doing, it's worth doing right." We couldn't
agree more. So we push ourselves to make that strategic
plan a little more insightful. We dig a little deeper
to find the bigger idea. And we craft the design and
copy until they're perfect. Yes, we could probably make
more money if we cut some corners, but it wouldn't make
dad nearly as proud.
