Princeton Partners Health Wins National Award for Health Campaign

PRINCETON, NJ, September 12, 2005 - Princeton Partners Health has won the prestigious National Health Information Award for the Take Care New York healthcare campaign in New York City. The National Health Information Awards Program recognizes the nation's best consumer health information programs and materials.

Princeton Partners was awarded gold for its Take Care New York campaign on behalf of New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation. The campaign's winning entry was chosen from among 1,000 award entries judged by a panel of health information experts.

Take Care New York, a month-long health outreach program for the nation's largest public hospital system, reaches into local neighborhoods throughout the culturally diverse communities within New York City to encourage residents to safeguard their health with free screenings, health information and physician checkups. The message is delivered through a carefully coordinated print, radio and television campaign in more than 14 languages and events citywide that reach out to medically underserved residents.

The awards program is coordinated by the Health Information Resource Center, a national clearinghouse for consumer health information programs and materials. The Center, which houses a large collection of such public and private sector materials, promotes the distribution of accurate, timely consumer health information materials to professionals and managers in the field.
