Princeton Partners Taps Chesebro for President;
Sullivan Retains CEO Role
PRINCETON, NJ, March 12, 2007 – Princeton Partners named Jeff Chesebro president following a year of tremendous growth for the brand marketing agency. Tom Sullivan, formerly president and chief executive officer, continues as Chairman and CEO.
Chesebro joined Princeton Partners eighteen months ago as vice president and group account director. Under Chesebro’s leadership, the agency has doubled its client base and staff size.
"Jeff Chesebro’s understanding of the changes in business and consumer decision making, and his vision for integrated marketing, are leading clients to achieve significant ROI," said Tom Sullivan, CEO. "Under Jeff’s leadership, our clients are meeting and surpassing their business goals, which in turn is helping to drive Princeton Partners’ rapid growth. We look forward to Jeff continuing to enhance our flexible, client-centric culture to propel the agency’s success as president."
As CEO, Sullivan will focus on achieving his vision for developing the agency of the future. Sullivan believes that the future belongs to those agencies that truly invest in their clients, create new intellectual property and are eager to be compensated on a performance model versus the archaic commission, time and materials model.
In 2006, Princeton Partners was named one of the top 75 business-to-business agencies in the US by BtoB magazine, the only New Jersey or New York City agency to be so named. Princeton Partners expanded its B2B clients in the past year to include Munich-based ADVA Optical Networking, global innovators in optical and ethernet technology; JLG, a leader in industrial work platforms; Greenfield Online, a global internet survey solutions provider; and Directravel, a national corporate travel service firm; as well as growing B2B accounts already at the agency.
In addition to the success in the B2B sector, Princeton Partners doubled the size of P3, a unique experiential marketing and promotions group serving consumer and retail-oriented clients, and added new leading clients such as North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System to its Princeton Partners Health group.
Prior to joining Princeton Partners, Jeff Chesebro was senior vice president and director of business development at Source Communications in New York City, managing client accounts including Hewlett-Packard, 1-800-Flowers.com, Subway and McDonald’s. Before Source, he was partner in charge of business development at J. Walter Thompson, and vice president of business development at Partners & Shevak/Wolf in New York.
Tom Sullivan has been president and CEO of Princeton Partners since he acquired the agency in 2001; he was named president of the agency in 1995.
